Extract PDF pages online for free

Keep only the pages you need in a new PDF.

Keep only the pages you need from a long document (a signed contract, a statement, a chapter) and get a new, shorter PDF ready to share. Extraction happens in your browser.

How it works

  1. Select the PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to keep, for example 1, 4-6.
  3. Click “Extract pages” and download the result.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from “Split PDF”?

“Extract pages” creates a single PDF with the selected pages. “Split PDF” creates several separate files.

Can the page order change?

Yes, pages are taken in the order you enter them: “3, 1” puts page 3 first.

How do I extract a single page?

Just enter its number, for example “7”, in the “Pages to extract” field.

Is the quality preserved?

Yes. Pages are copied as they are, without recompression or conversion to images.

Can I extract pages on my phone?

Yes, the tool works in the browser on a phone or tablet, with no app to install.

Are my files stored anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is kept.

My PDF is password-protected. What can I do?

First remove the protection with the “Unlock PDF” tool if you know the password, then extract the pages.

Choose the pages to keep

Enter the pages in the “Pages to extract” field, separated by commas:

  • “3”: only page 3.
  • “4-6”: pages 4, 5 and 6.
  • “12-”: from page 12 to the end.
  • “1, 4-6”: page 1, then pages 4 to 6.

All the selected pages are combined into a single PDF, named after the original document followed by “_extract”. They appear in the order you write them: “5, 1-2” puts page 5 first.

Examples of use

  • Send only the signed page of a contract, or the summary page of a report.
  • Attach a single month’s statement, taken from an annual statement, to an application.
  • Pull out a chapter of a book or course to read it on your phone.
  • Send only the pages that concern the person you’re dealing with.

Pages are copied without recompression: the text stays selectable and quality doesn’t change. The resulting file is usually much smaller than the original.

Extract, split or delete?

  • “Extract pages”: a single new PDF with the selected pages.
  • “Split PDF”: several separate files, one per page or per range.
  • “Delete pages”: you enter what to remove rather than what to keep.

To choose pages while seeing their thumbnails, use “Organize PDF”. And to extract the content rather than the pages, “PDF to text” or “PDF to JPG” are better suited.

Your documents stay private

Extraction is done by your browser: the original document is neither uploaded nor stored, and it stays intact on your device. That’s useful for bank statements or contracts you only want to share part of.
