Terms of use
PDFRoll terms of use
By using PDFRoll, you accept the terms below. They are short and written in plain language.
The service
PDFRoll offers free tools to work with PDF files: merge, compress, convert, sign, edit and more. No sign-up is required.
Your files
The tools run in your browser: your files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. You remain the sole owner of your documents and responsible for their content. Always keep a copy of your original files.
Acceptable use
You agree to use PDFRoll only for documents you have the right to process, and never for illegal activity, to bypass the protection of a document that is not yours, or to infringe the rights of others.
Signatures and legal value
The signature added with “Sign PDF” is a visual signature. It is suitable for many everyday documents, but it does not replace a certified electronic signature when the law or the other party requires one.
No warranty
PDFRoll is provided free of charge, as is. We do our best to make the tools reliable, but we do not guarantee that they suit every purpose or that they will work without interruption. Always check the resulting file before using or sending it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PDFRoll cannot be held liable for any data loss or damage resulting from the use of the site or the inability to use it.
Advertising and links
The site may show advertising to stay free, and may contain links to other sites whose content we do not control. The Privacy page explains which data is involved.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. For any question, write to us at the address shown on the About page.
