Your files stay with you

PDFRoll processes your PDFs directly in your browser. No file is sent to a server, stored, or read by anyone but you.

What happens when you use a tool

The files you select are read and transformed by your computer, using the open-source libraries pdf-lib, PDF.js and JSZip. The result is created on your device and downloaded from it. Closing the page erases everything.

What we don’t do

No account, no advertising cookies, no data resale. The site only remembers, in your browser, your light or dark theme and language choice.

Technical services used

The pages, processing libraries, fonts and even the OCR tool’s recognition engine are all served by the site’s host (Cloudflare): nothing is loaded from Google or any other service to make the tools work. The host sees your connection’s IP address, but never your files.

Audience measurement

To know how many people use the site and which pages they visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This measurement is anonymous: it uses no cookies, does not track you from site to site and never sees your files.
