Convert HEIC photos (iPhone) to PDF

Convert HEIC photos from your iPhone into a single PDF, no app needed.

iPhones save photos in HEIC format, which many websites and Windows computers reject. Gather your HEIC photos into a clean PDF, ready to send or upload to a form, right in your browser.

How it works

  1. Select one or more HEIC (or HEIF) photos.
  2. Choose the page size, orientation and margins, then the order of the photos.
  3. Click “Convert to PDF” and download the document.

Frequently asked questions

What is a HEIC file?

It’s the default photo format on iPhone and iPad since 2017. It’s lighter than JPG, but many websites, programs and Windows computers can’t open it.

Are my photos sent to a server?

No. Photos are decoded and assembled in your browser, on your device. That makes it ideal for ID documents or supporting documents.

Can I put several photos in one PDF?

Yes. Each photo becomes a page, in the order you choose.

The PDF is too large for a form?

Run it through “Compress PDF” afterwards: you can even choose a maximum size, for example 500 KB.

Does it work on Windows and Android?

Yes. PDFRoll decodes HEIC photos itself, even in browsers that can’t display them. The first time, it loads the decoder, which can take a few seconds.

Why convert HEIC photos to PDF?

An administrative form, a school or an employer often asks for a PDF, or simply rejects HEIC files. Converting them to PDF gives you a single document that’s easy to send and opens everywhere.

Tip: avoid HEIC at the source

On iPhone, Settings > Camera > Formats > “Most Compatible” saves new photos as JPG. The HEIC photos you’ve already taken stay in HEIC: that’s what this tool is for.
